Mad dog reached out comfortingly, his hand squeezing Pacifica's shoulder. "All the more reason to fight back." He nodded in affirmative. "Reina..." Catching the hint, she joined hands with Mad dog, then Pacifica. "We can do this." She said firmly. "Agents stick together."

Tears still fell down Pacifica's face and Mad dog's speech helped only a bit. She let go of their hands and hugged him as she continued crying. She didn't want to be alone right now. And while Reina was a friend, that wasn't really the comfort she was looking for at that moment. (plot twister.(Pacifica likes Mad dog, she's just to stubborn to admit it to herself or anyone else.....except now.))

(Oooh crap, that's really a plot twister since Mad dog and Reina are kind of a thing) Mad dog hesitantly returned the girl's hug, blushing fiercely. Reina just sort of stood there, her eyes narrowed and arms crossed.

(Reina shouldn't be mad, it's just a hug. (chuckle chuckle) And pacifica needs it right now. this didn't really reveal that pacifica has a crush on him, he was just the nearest person)

Almost immediately after Pacifica hugged him, she let go and moved away, her cheeks turning bright red. "Sorry, I didn't mean....I just..." She sniffled quietly as the tears slowly stopped. "I....just needed a hug."

"I understand." Mad dog replied immediately, recovering his composure. Noticing Reina's readiness to murder someone, he took her hand and squeezed. Sighing, she looking up at him and made a face.

Pacifica watched them and she blushed even more from embarrassment as she rubbed her arm nervously. "I'm gonna go sit back with my friends. It was nice seeing you two." She pulled her cloak hood up over her head and started for the door.

"What?" Pacifica asked, a little annoyed. Somehow in those 40 seconds, she had gone from crying, to embarrassment, then back to her old self. Even Pacifica herself didn't know how it had happened so quickly.
